Description
The wine is straw yellow in colour with golden highlights. It is fairly viscous and clear. The bouquet is persistent, intense and refined, with pronounced fruit and floral notes and a hint of freshly cut grass. Pineapple, mango, white vineyard peach, green pepper and lime blossom stand out. The nose is rich.
On the palate, the wine is dry, moderately warm and flavourful, with a pleasant freshness. It is well balanced, with an intense and lingering taste. Harmonious and ready to drink.
Sauvage pairs well with more aromatic dishes. It goes particularly well with warm starters, such as squid ink risotto or an asparagus omelette.
